Norbu truly earns its high ratings! From the moment we stepped in we were greeted by a charming, ambient atmosphere with beautiful Nepalese treasures. The food was superb- so fresh and utterly delicious! Despite the restaurant being crowded our server was very attentive and friendly. Really great experience. I highly recommend! 10/10
I highly recommend; from the moment we stepped in, the waitress was excited for our arrival! She was able to quickly and throughly go through the menu, as it was my first time there. Her recommendations were delicious and we chose to eat the variety choice of dumplings. There was a pleasing contrast in texture that satisfied my mouth. The fried chicken Bao Buns were another flavorful choice! The chicken was fried to perfection, and also had a satisfying crunchy texture. Lastly we had the their special that had option of chicken and pork! We were able to taste the combinations of flavors with ginger, tumeric and all the things good! I am definitely going to recommend for my vegan and vegetarian friends, but also the meat lovers as well! I am trying the curry next time!
The staff were very kind and welcoming. Our waiter gave us great menu suggestions. The food was also delicious - the portions were a generous size and reasonably priced. We will definitely be returning! I liked the decor and atmosphere (besides the bright ceiling lights). The outdoor area looked nice too.
This restaurant is nothing short of exceptional in every facet: flavors, presentation, service and atmosphere. The owner is so kind and empathetic and warm! The food, both Bhutanese and Nepali, is utterly delicious: flavors are robust, vibrant and fragrant. The decor alone is worth visiting for! I am so grateful to count this as one of the hidden culinary gems of Lancaster.
We had an INCREDIBLE experience from beginning to end! Service was phenomal. Atmosphere is warm and inviting. Food was absolutely delicious! And such great value! We tried 4 dishes and split them around the table...We loved them all. Definitely will be returning!
Norbu is one of my favorite spots in Lancaster! Their dishes are super yummy, especially the momo. The thali was flavorful and I also really enjoyed the lassi, chai tea, and pakora. Everything tasted fresh and well-balanced. The service is always friendly and attentive, which makes the experience even better. I also love the interior design, it really feels like I’m back in Nepal. The location is great, with a parking spot conveniently right across the street. Overall, it’s a cozy and welcoming restaurant that I keep going back to!
